Dear Supporters of Hythe Golf Club,
We would like to thank the Crowdfunder Team, Sport England, Folkestone and Hythe District Council, Rural Hythe Ward Councillors, club members, non-members, friends, family and all those who responded to our pleas for support via social media. We’ve had some very generous sponsors, many anonymous. YOU ALL enabled us to reach our target of £30,000.
We really do have a Robot on the fairways and Solar Panels on the roof.
We have been trialing the robot and your money will purchase one. You have funded an extra storage battery for the energy generated by our solar panels. Our greens are approaching zero chemical treatment because we can now fund the Biological Control package to treat them.
By supporting us you have reaffirmed our belief that the community has a commitment to the green agenda.
There is much work still to do. We will do it on your behalf ensuring our operations are environmentally friendly because that is what you have sponsored.
